Harry R. Torres, New Plymouth Manager

Since arriving at HNZ NP, Harry has been instrumental in transitioning managerial oversight & administrative programs from the Nelson head office to our New Plymouth branch. Harry retired after 22 years of government service and served on air, surface, and subsurface platforms as well as duty in London England, Japan, and Hawaii. Here in New Zealand, he immediately started two different business ventures and worked in a myriad of postions to include radio d.j., procurement, and golf instructor until selected as HNZ NP Manager. Qualifications include Masters Studies, Business Management with Florida State University and Bachelor of Science degree, Business Adminsitration with Columbia. He is a member of the board of trustees of a local radio station and involved in local youth groups. Hobbies include golf, hunting & fishing, baseball, basketball, classic cars, music, and entertaining.

Capt. John L. Anderson, Senior Pilot, New Plymouth

John began his flying career with Wanganui Aero Works as a fixed wing pilot for 3 years. He then "saw the light" and trained as a helicopter pilot and flew with them for a further eight years before moving to the United Kingdom. For two years, he flew the UK/Middle East route but, then returned to New Plymouth to start his career with HNZ. Initially, he began by flying on a seismic contract with ZK-HNZ Bell 212 but, then joined the Maui team in 1986 and excepting for 3 trips to the Middle East, has been here ever since. Hobbies include classic/vintage cars (to include restoration of several cars and motorcycles including the building of Series 5 Kitfox aircraft), amateaur aviation, and getting into a fixed wing every now and then. John and Raewyn have been married for many happy years and have four adult children involved in some form or fashion in the aviation industry.

Russell G. "Rangi" Pirihi, HNZ Group Chief Pilot (IFR)

Since retiring from the Royal New Zealand Air Force, Russell has been with HNZ here in New Plymouth for five years. Hobbies include DIY, sailing, piano, and is currently building a pizza oven in his
back garden. Russell is married to Jennifer and have three wonderful children - Josh, Stephanie, and Daniel.

Capt. Steve " T-Bone" G. Bone, Group Check & Training (IFR)

Steve has been with HNZ going on 13 Years

Brian V. Dravitski, Senior Engineer, New Plymouth

A Taranaki farmer's son, Brian is one of ten children and has been with Helicopters New Zealand a total of 15 years. Attended New Plymouth Boy's High School and had various jobs to include stone mason, timber worker, truck driving, and general engineering (welding). 1989, he joined HNZ then moved on to Air New Zealand in Christchurch working in large transport A/C before moving back to the preferred offshore helicopter industry in 1995 where he has been working ever since. Qualifications and ratings include: AW139, B412, B212, PT6T series and PT6-67C.
Hobbies include international travel, rugby, trail bikes, mountain climbing, story telling, amateur inventing, and socializing with the fellas. Brian is married to Carol and has two beautiful children - Corban and Briar.

Paul E. "Scotty" Scott, Chief Dispatch, New Plymouth

Paul has been with HNZ for 16 years. Hobbies include golf (Life Member), fishing, and relaxing with a cold one after going for Motorbike Rides.
Scotty is happily married to Raewyn, with 3 sons and 5 grandsons.
