A Taranaki farmer's son, Brian is one of ten children and has been with Helicopters New Zealand a total of 15 years. Attended New Plymouth Boy's High School and had various jobs to include stone mason, timber worker, truck driving, and general engineering (welding). 1989, he joined HNZ then moved on to Air New Zealand in Christchurch working in large transport A/C before moving back to the preferred offshore helicopter industry in 1995 where he has been working ever since. Qualifications and ratings include: AW139, B412, B212, PT6T series and PT6-67C.Hobbies include international travel, rugby, trail bikes, mountain climbing, story telling, amateur inventing, and socializing with the fellas. Brian is married to Carol and has two beautiful children - Corban and Briar.
